You never had a risk, which means you never needed a test...the test was pointless.
Accutane wouldn't affect an HIV test in someone who had a risk. 3 months would still be conclusive for someone who had a risk (which wasn't you)
Kindly move along.
Teak iI read online that accutane is somewhat immunosuppressive. Will that affect the 1 month post exposure test? Or my 3-7month post exposure results? Although I know that I do not need testing at all, I need to know the answer for the peace of mind
Reread what you were just told.
Thanks teak for answering my question. But does accutane and hep b affect the results?
You never had an exposure and never had a reason to test.
Vance last point:
Does accutane(isotrotenoin), a hepatitis B vaccine, or a cholesterol blood test(just blood neon drawn) affect hiv results? Will it give a false negative?
thanks vance! i can move on!?
Did you read what I wrote? You did not have any risks. Thus you don't need to test.
vance thanks so much for your reply. that was quick. so i test negative 1 month after my cunnlingus incident with chapped lips, and 3 weeks post my protected oral sex risk. Can i successfully get on with my life without worries? I am about to serve the army. Should i test again 3 months after for exposures 5 and 6, or wait for the hiv blood test when enlisting in the army(next year july)? is my negative test at 1 month conclusive? my doc says it is ball parked from 90-95% accurate.
Exposure 1 has a negative 7month 3rd gen elisa negative
Exposure 2-4 has a negative 3month 3rg gen elisa negative
