At risk for HIV??

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. So... 20 days ago, I had sex with a male (and I am female). We used a condom but, halfway through the sex, the condom came off. We continued and he actually finished in me. (stupid i know!) So right afterwards I tried to use the bathroom and I wiped myself off with warm water. Then I went to the store and bout a douche. And tried to clean myself out a little better. The sex lasted bout 20-25 min. I asked him if he had any STDS or HIV. He said no. About 10 days or so after the episode my nose got real dry and throat kinda itchy. As the days progressed my throat became mildly sore. It was very sore in the morning but got better as the day went on. No other symptoms though. I took an OraQuick standard test at 15 days after incident. It came back negative. I went to doctor about my sore throat. She said it was due to post nasal drip. Today makes the 20th day after incident. My throat is almost back to normal but, my chest is now feeling itchy and somewhat warm. The muscles in my arms are somewhat weak. I am going to retest with the OraQuick at the 3 week mark. Now I know everyone says wait 3 months. But that just to be for certain and for the govt to cover there butts. Which is completely understandable. Because there are cases when people don't have enough antibodies to test for a longer period than most people. But... I am no dummy. If and when you do get sick and are going through ARS the antibodies should be present either during ARS or right after. Everyone's different. All I am asking is the chances and likelihood of me "catching" HIV from my episode. Thanks so much!

3 months is when you can take a test that will give you a conclusive result.

Hey don't Worry. I worried aswel during my 1st exposure, because I had a sore throat that lasted for ages. Done tests at 6weeks,and at 12. Both negative! Yet my anxiety bought on a sore throat that has lasted for 1year!!!!

So try keep your mind off it. I'm sure your ok.
