Being tensed about HIV

I had an un-protected sex with CSW 7 weeks ago.  I had a elsa test on 21st day and the results came negative.  But i noticed my skin (under the chin) is having white spots, they are very small.

I red on the internet and found it is about autoimmune defficiency, and white cells produce antibodies to fight with foreign virus.  Some time they attack our skin.

My worry is... immune defficiency means... is it caused by hiv?

Please help me.

You sound very knowledgable about HIV.  I have the HIV scare going on.  It was my understanding that as a straight female I would most likely need a lot of unprotected sex with straight males to contract the HIV, that odds were quite low of contracting it.  So I let my hair down but now I have mouth sores for 6-7 weeks and fatigue and one flu-like thing after another.  What do you think?

There are no tests approved to give any one that has had a recent possible exposure any type of reliable test result.

Hi, I know people are going to step in and say 'Only a 3-month test is conclusive!!!' and i agree that you will have to test after 3 months for total peace of mind - I know from personal experience that HIV anxiety makes you really irrational with your worries: i personally did some feverish maths the other day and CONVINCED myself that I had a 1 in 10 chance of having contracted the virus after putting together a whole lot of scare-mongering **** I read on the web, whilst in reality, 5 unprotected acts of receptive anal with a known HIV-positive partner would still not give you that high a probability of contracting the disease. so i want to point out that although far from conclusive, your 3 week test is a very good sign: Dr. Hook of the experts' forum said that even a two-week test will catch 50% of positive results, so three weeks is even better:) Take some comfort from this and try to focus on other things, you'll be fine!

I am sorry.. for the confusion, my questions was not properly framed.

My question is... Can HIV cause autoimmune disorder within 6 weeks of exposure.

Thanks.

I guess what you are trying to say is that you don't know what HIV means? HIV is not an autoimmune disease.  It is a human immunodeficiency virus which left untreated causes AIDS.  (Acquired immune deficiency syndrome)
