CIMIA testing confusion and stress
Is CIMIA hiv1/2&p24 combo conclusive at days 29 and 46, is it like the other combo tests or duos which are mentioned in the forum, these tests were done in lal path labs, New Delhi didnot know whether 4th generation or not
Thanks Yash for the information. I am going to get tested 7 weeks after the exposure at the Lal Path Lab center that you have mentioned. Could you please let me know which test should I ask for?
Status yes they do upload results on there website same day which u can download. Lal path lab ia there at lake town block a 845. I hav been there....

But what i am thinking is , if everyone says 4th gen test is conclusive after 28 days , then obviously it looks for all antibodies right? also check with http://www.metropolisindia.com/. They to have HIV-DUO 4th generation test.
I am not sure about lal path labs, also i am not sure 4th generation DUO test will looks for all antibodies . will wait for expert to answer for this question.
Sunny I called lal path labs to check if it's 4th generation hiv test and if it does look for IGg, IGm and IgA antibodies but they could not provide with me any information because if it's just looking for IGg antibodies only it can not be conclusive at 28 days, because these takeover to develop which is about 60 days or so, do u have any idea if the test being done by lal path labs is 4th generation and if it looking for all three kind of antibodies which are produced in response to hiv1 and hiv 2 in addition to p24, thanks
the test which you have mentioned is Combo p24 test , its conclusive after 28 days.
Brothers is there combo test is the same as done in western countries, and is there test conclusive at 28 days
If u give sample bfore 1 am u will get the reaults same day else they will upload results on mext day. Where ate i from ?
Yea lal path lab offers p24 ag / ab combo test as it is routine test here. And u can get the results same day.
