Chances of HIV

I had a protected intercourse with a woman masseuse. I am pretty sure the condom was intact and covered , I didnt check after i pulled out so not sure if it is torn.

Now i am at the 6th week and I observed some bumps in my neck and armpits(Not sure if these are lymph nodes as these are less than 1cm in size and I cannot see the one in the neck with out tilting , and the one is the arm pit has red rash). I had mild cold for 10 days before this and been affected with Follicultis and now both are almost gone.

During these times I never had anyother symptom at all no fever,sore throat or Diahorrea

I took a test at 8th day but i no they dont prove anything, but i am pretty worried that swollen nodes are a symptom.

Thanks Vance . But could you  please answer the above question , could lymph nodes be caused with out any other symptoms. Last week I had my car rear ended could that be a reason for the lymph nodes enlarging after 6 days

I just came back from my dermatologist. She order a blood test as she is not sure of the swelling in at my underarm. The one on the neck she says its just a cyst but she is a bit worried about the one at underarm . She checked my groin area and found nothing there . I just found a cut ion the same hand as the swelling but really can't tell if it is a new one or an old one . The swelling underarm is about 8mm according to the doctor. She says it might be or could be just. A cyst and nothing to worry about . Really stressed out . Hope good luck on my side

They are really just a middle man, they don't do the testing.

Thanks Vance . I am a bit worried about the lumps and I have a dr appointment today . Hope those are not the lymph nodes.

Just a quick question at my place I checked for std and hiv tests and found the Stdexpress which claims accurate results by end of 4th week . Is it trustable. I read yours and many other Dr comments in This site stating that 3 months is conclusive . Thanks again for your time

You had no HIV risk. A broken condom is very obvious.

I have been checking my temperature on and off and mostly it is between 97to 98 F. Only once it was around 98.7 when I took the temperature right after a bath and took it again after an hr and it was back at 97.  I am loosing my sleep and mental peace with this
