dentist concern

good day. i went to my dentist to have dental work. My mouth was wide open when he coughed and he was a little close to my face. I do not know his hiv status. What if some of his fluids ( blood, saliva) went into my mouth which was bleeding because of the root canal that he was doing. I am concerned,  Is there a risk of hiv transmission here? Please advise. Thank You so much.

No risk at all because saliva renders the HIV virus inactive and therefore unable to infect you. You're safe from this incident aswell.

Sir, the last thing I wish is a discussion. I have accepted the hair salon incident and I have accepted the dental instruments incident as non risks. I have understood and accepted both those things. I just want a clarification with this the dentist coughed at my open mouth event. This is different sir and I just want to find out ff there is a risk in this: I am pasting it for your convenience.

A risk or no risk answer will suffice and I shall move on. Thank You Rainlover.

Saliva is non infectious in regards to HIV hence why kissing is no risk. As for blood, well he is not going to have blood in his mouth unless you punched him in the face first. Really calm down mate, all is fine :)
