Could a sex worker use a fake latex condom?
I have protected sex with a female sex worker/call girl in china 8 weeks ago. 6 weeks later, my top lip went dry and had a line of dark skin on the top which went with lip balm after a few days. The a week later i had a mild allergic conjunctivitis in my eyes cos they itched or tickled and they still do a week later off and on. a GP in england told me it is not related to the girl 8 weeks ago as it is too long now and she saif d i have allergic conjunctivitis. My question is that I did not buy the condom the sex worker brought it. WHat if it was a fake latex condom? IS there such a thing? It looked and felt like a normal latex condom and it didnt break. NOW today and yesterday (8 weeks today) i feel aslight itching in different places but there is no red skin or anything. I have had no fever or swollen glands or any rash for 8 weeks but I hsve had these symmptoms I mentioned. Is there such a thing in china as a fake condom which would allow hiv to pass through it?
Really, please stay focused. You had safe sex. HIV is not (NOT, N-O-T) diagnosed by symptoms. Ever. You are concocting scenarios that are not real life. You do not have HIV. You do not need to test. Nothing else you add or worry about will change that answer.

No one would be dumb enough to use a fake condom,because I imagine if they were intentionally spreading HIV they would end up in jail in your country.
See your doctor to have him look at your rash and tell you how to get rid of it if he can, and don't mention HIV because you don't have HIV and he will not suspect HIV. I wouldn't be surprised if the itching is in your imagination and always existed to some degree before but you ignored it, but only your doctor can figure it out.
By the way, I have a biting itch that started 15 years ago and can be very sharp biting at times but a neuro doctor said it is just the way it is, and no doctor I ever mentioned it to suggested HIV, which means you are wrong trying to blame HIV.

She didn't use a fake condom. You are freaking yourself out. You had protected sex which is SAFE sex. Try to relax and don't let your anxiety get out of hand here. Think rationally. You were so safe that you don't need to test.

But why am I getting the itches in different parts of my body with no rash or redness or swelling. It feels like when you have bad washing powder and put your tshirt on and then starts to itch. It feels like this and it started 2 days ago so 7 weeks and 6 days after the protected sex with a condom I did not buy or bring. I do not have a fever, my temperature has always been 36.something all 8 weeks. But I read that you can get a rash with ARS and as I am itching I am worried. Nobody seems to know for sure what is and what isn't HIV infection. So you don't think she is HIV positive and going round with fake/faulty condoms to infect men?This is China not the USA. I looked up the prevalence of HIV in CHina and it is 0.1-0.2% of the population so low I think. Is this 1 in 1000-2000?
Also there's no anonymous places to test for HIV in CHina. ANy positive results are reported to the CDC. The only place for an anonymous test would be Hong Kong or Taiwan where my GF lives. Could the itching be chlamydia or Syphlis exp as my eye is still itching a bit off and on?Or are you also protected from these diseases too if you use protection?
could i have caught anothe STD from her instead as I have a feeling of ants crawling over me tonight (itchy feeling but not rash or redness). But I wore a condom so I cant have caught any STD no?

You have phobia so I suggest you get therapy to deal with it. You will have difficulty having a normal relationship with your fiancee if you are worried about diseases that your doctor told you don't exist.

I have been taking anti histamines (loratadine) for a few months now daily due to an allergy I had just before xmas which is ok now). Could it be a side effect of taking an antihistimine?

Anyone can get those symptoms and you don't have any medical training, so it is not surprising that you are focusing on HIV disease that you can't have.
Doctors can't diagnose HIV from symptoms so you can't either.

You can take a duo test now or any test in another month. Any testing is just a placebo but if it helps you get over this fear then it is an option, if you believe it.
I could get a rapid test but they report you in china if its positive. This is at a private clinic with UK and US doctors. I cant see any anonymous testing in china. only hong kong has anonymous testing not mainland china.
what is a duo test? a 4th generation? My Drs office only offers rapid I think. he said rapid id good after 6 weeks.

I dont know. I am just worried cos I have had these symptoms but the conjunctivitis comes and goes probably due to the pollution here in china but I am still worried anyway and I have a fiancee and we had unprotected sex over xmas one time but I know she doesnt have any STDs as she got tested a few months ago with a rapid test in taiwan and it was negative. Is it too late at 8 weeks to have symptoms start anyway? GP said its too long ago now to be her.
