Hi doctor
Ive had the worse time of my life lately, on aprill 24th i did a silly thing and had Unprotected with a female i met on the internet, I had STI and HIV test at 3 weeks which came back negative so didnt think anything of it.
Then 5 weeks later i noticed a dramatic weight loss leading to 8 weeks after the the daft thing i did.  i lost about 2 stone in matter of 3 weeks, also 8 weeks after the 'daft thing'  i have a sore throat and under my left arm pit hurts. also  i had really bad stomach cramps for 3 weeks which i actually went to Hospital for.
I took another HIV test 9 weeks and 3 days after 'daft thing' and it came back negative.

Im really worried because i have a partner and daughter which are my life, i know i did a stupid thing but i cant turn back time. i would prefer to have cancer than HIV as i might of infected the most improtant person in my life.
I have spoken to the girl i slept with and she seems to think that she is fine and had no symptoms my girlfriend also is having no symptoms althought i havent told her about whats going on in fear she will leave me.
Ive had no fever and no rash
my main symptoms are
dramatic weight loss   from 18stone 10lbs to   16 stone 11lbs  -- im muscley not fat
sore throat - its like there is something stuck in my throat
lef arm pit hurts

in hossy i had a camera in my rectumand down my throat they found nothing also had stomach ultrasound

Please please advice me, is a 9 week 3 day HIV test at a UK clinic any good???
im so scared

i have always kept a close eye on my weight cause my a gym instructor  2 stone is alot to lose, i have read that weihgt loss isnt that common straight away in HIV?? is that true??

Also if i have been losing this weight from 4/5 after the incident wouldnt that mean they would of picked it up after the 9week 3 day test???

your test is a great indicator of your status...and is HIGHLY unlikely to change...but a test at 3 months is considered conclusive.
