DUO test on stored blood sample

I gave my blood for HIV DUO testing on 17th oct. This is 7 weeks after potential exposure.

The lab tested only for Antibodies on 17th oct and the result was Negative.

I asked them to re-do the test as the lab didn't test for Antigen.

So, on 20th Oct, the lab re-ran the test on my stored blood sample and the result was Negative.

Is the DUO test on stored blood sample still reliable? (as the test was performed on stored blood sample as opposed to freshly drawn blood)

I'm just asking this out of curiosity.....

In Australia do you know what type of ImmunoAssay they use for HIV testing? Apparently, In Australia the results take 1 week.  In New Zealand, the results take only 24 hrs and they do CMIA (Chemiluminescent Microparticle Immuno Assay) which is a 4th gen test.
