Didnt know where to ask or if it is known

Not looking for a long answer but i am curious of how most credible agencies come up with the 3 month test. In other words how does one know that it is reliable. Has there been legit tests done to make sure that it is good? Just a little nervous thats all, and i just would like to have confidence in my recent 3 month test. I rather not venture off and pay to the doc unless someone happens not to know.
So to direct question

1. How does the Health agencies/FDA know 3 months is cut off.

Thanks for looking =)

The only people that are advised to test to 6 months instead of 3 are people who are severely immunocompromised due to such illnesses as...terminal, end stage cancer, people on chemo, people taking anti-rejection meds after an organ transplant.

Even this rare population of people usually test POS within the 3 months.

Is there anyone that says to test beyond 3 months? I ask cause if the FDA says 3 months why would anyone test beyond? Thats my last question thanks.

Ok so there is testing done to ensure that it is accurate then. Its not just based on collected data.

Because testing is done to ensure that 3 months is conclusive. The FDA is one of the hardest agencies to get anything approved by, so other countries may give a sooner time table the FDA has said 3 months is conclusive and again is backed up through testing.
