Don't believe test results

Hope you can help,I had a possible exposure thru vaginal & oral sex, about  six days after I started with sore throat and a headache , sore muscles and inflamed sinus, , day nine doctor gave me a Betamethasone injection 6mg, followed with a medrol dose pack for 5 days , also started on antibiotic in half way thru started with diarrhea. At 16, 24,45days I had a hiv antibody & rna test which came back negative , ai 65 days & 110 days post exposure I had hiv antibody test which were negative . For the last four weeks my lymph node from head to toe have been hurting . My concern is coud the steroids have interfered with the validity of the test. The last test was 95 days after finishing the steroids. I would  appreciate a sound answer to my stressed out situation . Also my hair started thinning and has become dry and limp, thx

It seems that the amount from the two steroids would have some effect on anti body production

Your symptoms are NOT hiv related. Your nodes are hurting because you keep poking them.

Nothing will suppress the virus,if it's there the test will detect it believe me.

My concern is that that the steroids suppressed the virus to undetectable level and the immune system shut down for a period of time and did not produce antibodies. I guess I wouldn't feel so worried if my lymph node weren't hurting and this stiff neck that won't go away ,red spots that keep popping up.  Teak what are your thoughts?

110 days after last possible an antibody test is conclusive proof.
Steroids do not interfere with antibody responses to HIV.
