ECLIA + P24 hiv AG + PCR RNA tests

Dear friends, what is the accuracy for ECLIA at 40th day, P24 HIV AG test at 39 days and PCR RNA at day 34th post exposure? And what are differences between P24 hiv AG only compare to P24 combo? im gonna take the result on this 26th, im wondering that will it is be conclusived or not. thanks in advance

You never had an exposure and didn't need testing.

i used condom correctly on every occasions, no anal only oral..but d white tongue, muscle pain and headache still exist after 2 weeks of last exposure up to now n the symptoms came first before i know them..VDRLs were all cleared by lab test, perhaps that 100% doesnt apply on my case..anyway just got my result today..eclia at 40th day non reactive, p24 antigen (39th day) also negative..still waiting for pcr RNA at 37th exposure looking forward for another test after 3 months..pls pray for me fellow frens..tqvm

You want figures? Use condoms correctly and consistently for anal and vaginal sex and you will protect yourself 100 percent from contracting HIV and most STDs.

how bout half-conclusive? cmon there must be some figure...if we're dependant only on 3 months i dont think therell be unreasonable for so many advanced hiv test created..thx for ur initial answer anyway teak

hi teak, ok i accept 3 months is conclusived, but how about the accuracy for the result at least at this point, 10%, 50%, 70% or 90%? i believe with the advancement of technology some of the test do have lesser window period than others right? and the difference between P24 hiv AG and P24 combo?

3 months post exposure is when you can obtain your conclusive test result if you had an exposure.
