How accurate are rapid tests?

Hi. Last Dec 21, I had an encounter. No oral sex. My nipples were stimulated by my partner's tongue and my anus was also stimulated with his fingers using his saliva as lubricant. At 6 weeks post exposure, Feb 1, I took a rapid HIV test here at home - I ordered one online. It was an "OEM". One that is sold cheaply but gets expensive when a brand is placed on it. (But the test kit came sealed and complete with buffers and droppers.) My test result was negative. Is there any chance that this would change when I get tested again at 8 weeks and again at 12? I'm just anxious about getting the virus. Answers would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for a fast reply, sir/ma'am. I'm still going to test in a few weeks so I could have closure and move on but thanks a lot for the reassurance. It's great to hear that I did not have a risk. It may be just the anxiety getting the best of me.

No risk. If you did not have unprotected anal/vaginal sex then you had no risk and no test is needed.
