Early detection test?

I just wanted to take an HIV test for peace of mind. I had a very low risk exposure some would say no risk but to be sure I want to test. My question is how long after exposure can I get tested for the early detection test? Also how accurate are these tests? Thanks for everything you guys do!

Either a DUO test at 28 days or an antibody test at 3 months. The test you speak about it not a stand alone test.

Also when people come here and talk about "low risk" it is most likely no risk.

The clinic near me has a test called NAT? It says it can show Hiv anywhere from 1-3 weeks. Is this a reliable test as well?

Hi,

You can get tested after 4 weeks of risky exposure with a 4th generation duo/combo test. These tests are conclusive.
