Doesn't matter, you're negative. Period.

If you have symptoms, work with a doctor. They have nothing to do with HIV given the WB result. Maybe you had another disease, but definitely not HIV because the virus wasn't there.

I meant 1.11 not 1/11.

Does this change anything?

Had you been positive your Western Blot would be positive and it isn't even close.

So 1.11 would still be considered negative...why the heck do my lab results say "high"?

I could break down and cry right now...tears of pure joy!!!!

On the H 1/O/2 1/11  test you stated ,1.00 the cut off is 1
On the Western Blot you only have one band P18 which is not even considered. You didn't have a p120/p160 or a p24 or 41 which equals negative.

No, you can probably expect a negative result in follow up testing. If oyu go into the Expert Forum, Dr.Hook just answered a question very similar to your yesterday that you should find and read. It will give you more insite to this situation.

Are you by chance pregnant?  If so, it's not unlikely to have these kind of results.  It would be a false positive.

It was just a routine OB/GYN visit.  Nothing actually prompted me to test.  My only partner tested negative 3 weeks prior to my test...

Is this a seroconversion pattern?

What was your risk that made you test?

It means that your initial test was positive but the confirmation test was not positive. Normally when this happens you will be asked to retest and the WB will come back negative.
