my last sex was at 04/11/2010 i did the first test on 22/1/2011 the result wasELISA : HIV1&HIV2 NEGATIVE (0.15) i started to get worried of the number so i did a second test on 15/2/2011 just to make sure that i completed 3 monthes and the rsult came ELISA : HIV1&HIV2 NEGATIVE (0.33) i freeked out why that number is keeping rising !! i did another test yesterday 18/03/2011 result came ELISA : HIV1&HIV2 NEGATIVE (0.57)!!! my question is what are those numbers?, why its rising?, is it normal? and is there a chance that i am enfected? as the normal range is:
NEGATIVE: 1.00
i am worried that if i complete the six month the result will show 1.00

promice this will be my last question,
Those are patient index numbers and if you test several times in one day they will be different.

so this means even if i retest again after i complete 6 monthes it will still show negative?!!

Those are patient index numbers and if you test several times in one day they will be different. As long as your number is below the cutoff 1.0 then you are negative.

There is only one way to wear it and that is on your penis. You never had a risk of contracting HIV.
