Fingering

i had a recent encounter with a guy who was fingering me quiet roughly until i bled (internal vaginal bleeding). It was my first sexual encounter, ever. does my bleeding after wards and during fingering put me at an increased risk of contracting HIV since there was a tear in my vaginal walls, and let say he had a fresh bleeding cut on his finger .

please please help!

In the 30 years of the HIV pandemic no one has ever contracted HIV via fingering,it's just not a mode of HIV transmission.

thanks alot Rain, i finally found a sigh of relieve.  I saw my GYN afterwards and everything looked normal. So my last comment would be, there is absolutely no way that the virus can escape his finger wounds and go through the tear of the vaginal walls correct?
since i though the virus is blood borne and it can be transmitted to mucous environment (vagina)!! and in my case, an internal vaginal bleeding!

Welcome to the HIV community prevention forum I will try & ease your stress. From what you describe there is absolutely no HIV risk at all from this guy who fingered you because HIV is not transmitted via fingering even if he had a cut or was bleeding because when we talk about sexual exposures you can only contract HIV from unprotected penetrative vaginal or anal sex.I would let this go but i urge you in the future to let your friend/partner know that he is being to aggressive so he doesn't cause other medical issues. All the best.
