Getting HIV from menstrual fluids even when condom was on, is it possible?

Hi kind posters and Drs, I had a sexual encounter with a sex worker, we used protection, but when I was removing the condom I noticed a stain of blood in the base of my penis (in the small gap between the base of the penis and the start of the condom), I asked her and she told me that she recently had her period, but it was gone. I do know that the condom was on throughout our sexual intercourse as I checked a couple of times. I am now worried that the small stain of blood could pose a danger, for example infection of HIV and/or other STDs. Is this likely? The condom remained on, but I guess that some of the bloody fluid landed on the base of my penis in the tiny gap that is not covered with the condom. Does this situation pose any danger? Many thanks for your help.

No, HIV is a fragile virus and can only infect through the urethra which the condom always covers otherwise it would fall off. You had no HIV risk and can move on.
