There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex. The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way. Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk". There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
DR. HANSFIELD
"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex. Please educate yourself about the real risks. If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs. " DR HANSFIELD
"I am sure you can find lots of people who believe that HIV is transmitted by oral sex, but you will not find scientific data to support this unrealistic concern..." DR HOOK
"HIV is not spread by touching, masturbation, oral sex or condom protected sex."- DR. HOOK
in the public HIV Prevention forum of MedHelp, TEAK and the other moderators maintain that oral sex in all forms is a zero risk activity. Would you agree with this assessment?
I TOTALLY AGREE / DR GARCIA
"HIV is not spread by masturbation, through oral sex, through kissing or other casual contact." Dr.Hook
"The observation on thousands and thousands of observations is that HIV is not spread by oral sex (of any sort)." DR HOOK
HIV is not transmitted by oral sex. Saliva contains over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibit HIV transmission.
So in may Case, I have got comments saying that "I never had a risk and do not require testing".
My main problem is due to that Ulcer which I had during my sex (after two days It completly dissapeared).
since 4 weeks I don't have any problem except Anxity, but still that Ulcer fear is killing me..
Please let me know your comments..
The information that you are referring to is solely theoretical- oral sex has not been confirmed as a risk factor for HIV transmission. Anybody can author an article on Wikipedia so you have to be highly skeptical of the accuracy of the information there. Same thing with Yahoo Answers and similar sources of information. I suggest that you read what the expert doctors here have to say about oral sex (cunnilingus in particular). Just use the search function on the HIV Prevention and International Expert forums.

By reading your posts daily, i'm getting some courage. but still i'm thinking crazy.
In wikipedia and in some other sites, they have mentioned that, I you have open sore in your mouth then it will increase the risk. But you people are saying that "It doesn't change any thing and NO RISK".
I'm very much worried...Please let me know the fact, why other site people are still saying there is a risk.
Please i'm asking this on behalf all the people who are having HIV anxity..
Please try to understand by position.... No sleep since 4 weeks...
Than you evry much for your response.......You people are really doing a great job...
God bless you all..
Do I need HIV test after 3 months?
Just now I have discussed with my frined (who is working as a lab assistance), and he said that if you have cuts or Ulcer then You can get HIV.....
After his reply, I'm completly worrying abt that....
Please let me know your suggestions.....
You never had a risk of hiv transmission via oral sex,Ulcer or no ulcer it doesn,t matter.Test for other STD,s however, but not hiv.You can stop worrying about this situation and get some rest. All the best.
You did not have a risk based on protected sex and oral sex.
