Post PEP Side effects

I was on PEP and its 10 days since I stopped the meds. My body is getting worse each day.

1> High body temperature throughout the day
   2> chills in Hand/legs
3> pain in lower back and kidney areas when I sit down or get up.

Please advise on How long would the side effects stay ?

Call the hotline number I sent you! Or go to an HIV clinic. Most do not require appointments.
You could also talk with your local pharmacist. They have a vast knowledge of medications and side effects.

Thank you RubyWitch.

My hope was to find someone on this forum who has gone thru PEP and could advise me.

I am in the process of Finding the specialist but not able to get appointment earlier than 40 days. So very concered about my side effects.

The other worry is are these side effects of the medications or any infection itself :( :(

We have been discussing this issue privately for a long time and I have advised you, on numerous occasions, to seek the help and advice of an HIV specialist.

Perhaps someone else on this forum has personal experience with PEP who can help you.....I hope that is the case, but I feel confident they would give you the same advice regarding discussing this with a doctor.

I continue to wish you the best
