Groin Lymphnodes?

Hi again,

posted here a few months ago already and was told that my unprotected oral exposure (** & Cunnilingus) means no risk. Well, it gave me much comfort - until I diagnosed myself with swollen lymph nodes in both groins... Moreover as I caught pharyngeal gonorrhea from this exposure, this existence of an STD might have made an infection of HIV more likely.

However, I decided to get tested next week which makes me really really nervous. So I would very much appreciate your help in my lymph nodes concern. It might ease my mind a bit. It's as follows:

Directly below my Anterior superior iliac spine (that's the hip bone that you can feel outside of your waistlines) where the groin just starts, I can feel "something". If I strive with my fingers over these spots I can feel a very slight bulge. Maybe that's normal!? Well, I can only feel, not see... But if I poke with my fingers into these spots, I can feel something that might be swollen nodes. Quite soft, flat and rather thin and long in shape.  I googled for hours, but couldn't find any muscle, tendon, cartilage or whatever that exists in this position.

Many excuses if I sound totally stupid over my obvious anxiety, but can you also feel anything similar if you touch over there? Or do you maybe know what it might be? Is it indeed lymph nodes?

Thank you very much for your kind help!!

I won't see my doctor before the test. That's why I am trying to get some help here. And no, I didn't got tested before. At least not after this exposure which was the only one since I got tested negative a year ago.

The swollen lymph nodes can be from a number of things and I don't think you can automatically assume that it is a sign of HIV.  You've been tested for gonorrhea, did you request an HIV test?  Please note, you commented that you made a self diagnosis.  Let your doctor take a look before you lose your mind with self diagnosis!
