dont believe your symptoms....they lie!

Hi all,
just wanted to say that like everyone keeps emphasizing on this site....symptoms are no way to tell whether you have hiv or not.  I seriously have had every symptom in the book...and still have...but just got my conclusively negative result today! : )  my exposure was pretty damn risky- a condom break in subsaharan africa...following that i had fever, diarrhoea, nausea, weight loss, peripheral neuropathy, headaches, dry skin, white tongue, extreme fatigue...some of which are still with me today. but unless there is a rare type of hiv that the tests dont pick up, im accepting theres some other virus causing these symptoms (or that some of them are simply stress induced).
sooo all of you who get symptoms after much less risk situations than mine...try not to stress too much. easier said than done i know! good luck.....i know ive learnt a hell of a lot from this and now can move on.

give it a couple of days...your "symptoms" will start to disappear as you accept your negative status :)
