HIV Risk- Protected sex with scabies

Hi All,

I recently had protected vaginal sex with a CSW in India. At that time, I had scabies rashes and itchy lesions on the base of my penis, scrotum area, and the groin folds on both the sides extending a little towards the inner thigh.

During and after the sexual act, I noticed substantial vaginal fluids on my balls and surrounding areas, as also the base of the penis which was not covered with the condom. Although the sex was protected, I am worried that the vaginal fluids could have gotten access to my body thru the scab infected rashes and lesions.

Please assess my situation. I am in a tizzy over it.

Thanks.....

Many thanks for your prompt response. I appreciate what you are saying, but I read somewhere in this site that less-than-intact-skin or skin whose integrity is compromised can be a potential route for transmission of HIV. As my dermatologist later confirmed, I have scabies which compromises the skin integrity by burrowing holes in it. Hence the concerns.......

You had protected sex, no risk. Fluids on your skin is not a risk.
