HIV Test

Hi,

Well i think i was bit worried after even a low risk encounter that i had and i even think i developed anxiety.

I bought a HIV Duo test, did a test and all negative. This is after about 15 weeks. After reading the instructions properly, i found out that i had to wipe away the first drop of blood and use the second drop for testing.

Just wondering if this would make any difference? Do i have to redo the test?

Thanks guys.

Not an approved test it is imported from China. They recommend you take an approved government HIV test.

Right, that you send into a lab and call after a few days for results.

Home Access is not a test kit it is a collection kit.

This test is not approved by the FDA for use. The ONLY at-home testing kit for HIV approved by the FDA is the Home Access kit.

Unfortunately, given that you have no proof or reassurance that this is a reliable test, you will need to test again. You can go to a local health clinic and get a test- many places offer free, confidential HIV testing.

If you want to do it at home, the only test you should buy is the Home Access.
