HIV Transmission

I am a makeup artist. 2 months ago I did my friends’s makeup. He shaved so he could have a closer shave. He had some cuts in his skin. I applied his foundation with a sponge and use a makeup puff to set his powder. It took me like an hour and a half to do his makeup. After I was done with him, I did my makeup too and used the same powder puff I used on him on my skin after I had shave and had some cuts myself. There was like a 2 hour window between doing his makeup and mine. If he was HIv + am I on risk?, or the virus would have died in that time period?  Thank you! E.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
