HIV and other diseases
This question may belong in another forum, but I'll try here first?? Does anyone know the percentages of HIV positive results that have occurred in the USA WITHOUT another STD being contracted at the same time? Does the CDC track this data?
I know that, but if available, I'd like to know the percentages as a matter of education. If the CDC doesn't track it, they probably should. All of the writings I have read suggest that HIV is transmitted "better" when another STD is present, but that information never seems to be backed up by any hard data. I sometimes wonder who comes up with all this stuff on the internet and puts it out there with no CDC data to support it.
I don't take just anyone's word for it when I am getting educated...I want to know it is fact, and hopefully government stats can be the best facts we can get.
