HIV risk

I would like to know the chances of hiv infection by body piercing / tattooing?
Some of the websites mention its a risk -
But is there any case recorded in history of hiv that any person infected just by piercing/tattooing ?
I'm scared .. I did tattoo and body pierce 2 weeks back..not sure how good the studio is - he used gun shot for body pierce and needle for tattoo...now I feel sore throat and tierdness.. am infected ?? do I need to test ??

Piercing needles are not hollowcore needles attached to a syringe and stuck in a vein.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child

See your doctor if you are concerned about your symptoms. They are unrelated to HIV.

That means I dont have to worry about HIV from the incident - and no test is required ?

My sore throat/fever could be because of climate change or anxiety ?

CDC knows of no one that has been to be infected by tattoos and body piercings. They do have verified documented cases of HCV transmission.
