HIV test confusion

Hi All,

4th Gen ( HIV Ag/Ab) test done at 28 days post exposure will give conclusive results ? If yes , why hospitals are asking us to do the test in 3 months or 6 months?

I agree , when i asked they said thats a normal procedure , but here everyone says when they did 4 th gen test , you guys say , conclusive .

Just for my learning purpose , could you please explain me .

You will have to ask the hospital why they are telling you that.
