Oral sex

Yesterday I performed oral sex on a guy - I am a guy also. There was no ejaculation in the mouth however there was pre-cum. The next day I relealised that a part of my gums (top row of teeth in the inside by the teeth towards - not all
Of the top row. Just one or two teeth) were red and the roof is a little rough. I poked the gum with a cotton bud and it bled slightly. My fear is that it could have possibly bled during the oral incident and therefore exposed and made contact with the pre-cum. I could have also had dry, chapped and cut lips and the pre-cum could have been in contact with my lips. I am unsure of his HIV status. What are my risks in terms of HIV? Thanks in advance!

No, you will not get HIV through oral sex Vance is absolutely right.  Saliva contains over a dozen proteins and enzymes that render the virus inactive, this isn't just us saying it this is backed by peer reviewed scientific study PLUS the fact that there are no documented cases of HIV through oral sex.

The only way that there may be a slim possibility of HIV through oral sex is if the guy you are giving head to punches you in the mouth several times so that you are injured so badly that you should be in the ER and then instead of going ot the ER you still give him a blow job!!  lets face it that.. in the real world would NEVER happen.

You will not get HIV from this exposure.

I thought that there was a risk of HIV because the pre-cum could enter through the hole where blood could have come out of. What is the reason behind it being 'no risk'?

Just need to correct myself. What I was meant to say was : "The next day I realized that a part of my  gums (top row of teeth in the inside close to the teeth - not all of the top row. Just one or two maybe three teeth)"
