Exposure to air and temperature variations renders the virus inactive within seconds. Nothing now known "kills" it.
Hand/genital contact, more commonly known as masturbation, is not a means of HIV transmission.

If HIV infected secretions/blood got under the fingernails, it is still exposed to those air and temperature variations under the fingernails, thus rendering it inactive and permanently non infectious?
