Is my test conclusive?

Had a 4 week negative duo l test result. This is after an exposure where I sucked on a mans penis testicles and lower shaft. Never did the penis go in my mouth. Precum could have right?

by Emily_MHModerator,
And to clarify, it is this site's stance, based on studies and our own MedHelp experts (all of whom are world-renowned for their work in this field), that oral sex carries no risk for HIV.

You are wrong, you have  nothing to worry about.  Stop googling, you have not had a risk and do not need more testing.  You really are negative.

I have read lab experiments on that and apparently it takes hours to be inactivated!

Not if you have bleeding gums.

Regardless, I am unsure where to go from here as I won't have a conclusive test for another 1.5 months and it's hard to take my mind off it.

Is it true my duo test would have been 99.89% reliable?

No it would not giving a blow job with or without precum is not a risk as saliva inhibits HIV.

You are not having ARS, you never had an exposure.

Would my "risk" be seen as less risky than someone who actually put the penis in their mouth? Cause I'm simply assuming precum was there. I don't know for sure.  Therefore it never had direct contact into my mouth....

You cannot have ARS if you were not exposed.  Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV.

You cant get ARS if you havent got HIV, and you didnt get HIV from this sexual encounter.

Okay. So ARS doesn't occur at the 5th week? I have pain

Agreed your non exposure did not warrant a test, you do not need another test you are definitively HIV negative.

Only a 12 week test is conclusive. However you didnt need to have a test in the first place. HIV is not transmitted by oral sex, you didnt have a risk.

You never had an exposure and didn't need an HIV test.
