receiving cuningilis and hiv?

Hi Dr. I am a woman who received unprotected oral from a man 3 weeks ago. About 6 days after incident, I came down with a head cold, some body aches and mild sore throat. The cold lasted 4-5 days and disappeared. Since then, I've had a swollen lymph node and lots of tonsil stones (I've had these in the past but not to this extreme). Additionally, I've been completely stressed over all of this and my tongue appears to be white as well. I know oral is considered no risk or low risk but can't help be scared by my symptoms! Can you advise?

Hi there again.

Just to second the response it would be waste of time and money.

I know it is hard but try and move on, learn from your mistakes and sleep well knowing you are okay.

You definitely do not have HIV from what you have described above :)

I was thinking of taking the Oraquick test next week....for hopefully peace of mind, but I realize the test is for 12 weeks and after. Would this be a complete waste of money and not accurate?

Hi There,

There is no way you could have caught HIV from what you have explained here, - simply no way, never, impossible...

I am not a Dr so check on this but Vitamin B5 may help, you may just be run down and need a vitamin boost.

100% you do not have HIV from the above! :)
