HIV outside of body

I know that HIV does not live outside its host and cannot be transsmited but how come a few doctors in my country (not USA) say that its TRUE that HIV can't live and transsmit from enviromental surfaces but it does live in liquids such as semen, blood, vaginal secretions and can be transsmited outside of the human body because its still active in those fluids. I am so CONFUSED!

Ok this is the last time I m going to post on here,bc I dont feel like getting crap from ppl,but to address your problem the only way that would even be a risk is if you had a big,you need to go to the hospital,type cut or abrasion. Small nicks,cuts or scratches are not a route for HIV bc those type of injuries start to heal immediately after they occur,why do you think you bleed when you get cut? Your blood is pressurized .i,e healing from the inside and plus air damages the virus making it inactive.

Wrong--HIV requires a living host to survive,once outside the body it because inactive an unable to infect.

I just wanted to know why is HIV unable to infect once its been outisde and back inside and mixed up with all the fluids again. The fluids don't dry in seconds outside of body which means that HIV is still there

THANK YOU! But can you please explain why it can't? What happens to the virus that it cannot infect? If you know. I would be very happy and move along.

No, HIV is not transmitted in that manner.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child

Here is a perfect example of why i am confused. What if 2 women shared a same vibrator and 1 of the them was HIV+ can the HIV- woman get infected? The vibrator is an elemental surface.

Yes but HIV is inside the fluids not outside. I know that HIV cannot move by itself only in some kind of fluids so once its ouside it can still infect. And why do you get crap from ppl for posting?

Its living host is the human body or the fluids it is in?

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

Well my doctors say that HIV can be transsmited outside of body in fluids like blood, semen and vaginal secretions. This forum says otherwise. Can anyone please explain why HIV is unable to infect outside of body?
