Could i have caught HIV?

Hello,

I have had unprotected sex with my ex boyfriend we have been split up for 5 months and i am assuming he has been having sex with other females during this times.
We had sex twice both unprotected but he did not cum in me either of those times.
It has been 10 days since we had sex and i have developed a sore throat and a swollen tonsil on the left side I have not had fever. However i am very worried that i could be at risk of HIV because of the cold i have now and also i have a small lump in my armpit this has developed a day after my cold started.
I have asked him if i am at risk of catching anything from him and he told me no however this is still very stressful for me because of the symptoms i am currently suffering with.
Being only 10days since we had sex is there any type of test that could be done to check if i am HIV+ im am going to a clinic in a couple days to check for other STI's.
What would your advise be? I am very worried indeed.

Kind Regards

No, 3 month antibody test is the only test that will give a conclusive result. A Duo test at 28 days gives a good indication, but nothing conclusive before 3 months.
