question fo teak

Hi Teak

I am asking this purely because i know you have alot of knowledge not because i disagree.

Its on French kissing you state there is NO RISK even if Hiv positive partner has blood in mouth and the neg partner has small cut but the CDC website states this is possible and there is a documented case of this and HIV Pos people are advised against french kissing. I dont understand as you teach for them?

Would it have to be both patners bleeding alot iv read dr hhh sayin ti would need to be like a bloodfest something out of a vampire movie in this case would you still say no risk?

Thanks for th good work your doing educating people.

Thanks Lizzie

I was not disagreeing i was just confused because cdc and avert and stuff say it is a risk any blood getting into blood stream through cut is enough to transmit then reading comments like dr hhh stating that it would have to be a major amounts of blood in both peoples mouths to transmit then people saying no risk at all in any circumstance i wanted to know what was correct

"Kissing is no risk, even deep ("French") kissing and even with a person who sores on their mouth or has gum or dental disease."   DR HOOK

"Of course no risk. HIV is not transmitted by kissing, even with sores in the mouth.

Despite the billions of kissing events in the AIDS era, not one case of HIV has been known to be transmitted that way, even though millions of those kisses undoubtedly were with cuts in the mouth or on the lips."
DR HANDSFIELD

as far as "reported" cases...ppl lie about their exposures.
