Hi! Im new here :)
Seven weeks ago i had analsex without condom, i was bottom! Then thing is that I got alot of ars symptoms like rashes fever musclepain sore throat etc. Today i decided to do a hiv test, i did a rapid test ALERE DETERMINE™ HIV-1/2(3rd gen), according to their site the test takes 15 min, but the nurse said that it takes less than 5 min, so 3 mins later he said ur negative! I asked if i need to test again, and he said no! Im confused isnt the test supposed to take 15 min and no retesting?

A 4th gen has a 4 week window and all others have 3 months. Your 3 gen was too early to be conclusive so take a 4 gen.
