Can a person be still positive after two rapid test one at 6 months and other at 2.5 years please answer I do not know whether hiv or anxiety is killing me

Like the others told you, the person who told you is outdated or earns more money on lab test. The rapid test nowdays 4th gen are same accurency as lab. In lab they pretty much do the same but in lab environent and the can test more because they got more blood. But rapid test is also elisa and to be approves they need to be from the same quantity.

Any HIV test is conclusive at 3 months whether it's a lab or rapid test. Doesn't matter what kind or type of test. You need to deal with your anxiety and stop searching and googling. You don't have HIV.

But I am confused as some doctors in one of the forum says rapid test are only for emergency they less authentic than ELISA

What cheap crap are they using? Or do they really know what they are talking about? During my window period I used the clearview stat pac for hiv 1/2. I saved the instructions of this rapid test and the manufacturer clearly states, if you had no risk in 3 months and you test negative, "you do not have hiv ". Sounds clear, conclusive and reliable to me.

Any negative antibody test at 3 months and over is conclusive. You were told before that you are conclusively negative.
