How the odds are...

I had unprotected anal sex with my boyfriend. A month later I did the HIV AG/AB Combo - ABBOTT test:  P24, antibody HIV-1 (group M and group 0) and antibody HIV-2  were negative. But I am in panic because I know little about him and in his previous relationships. Now I know he is bisexual and sometimes he were careless about the use of condons.

Please, I need to know if this test I went throw is conclusive or not. And how about the odds?

Thank you

Russ

Most of the time symptoms do not even show with HIV. So do not go looking for symptoms it will only cause you more distress.

Use protection, when condoms are used correctly they work.

Sex lasts only minutes and HIV lasts a lifetime. The use of a condom would have prevented this.
