I took my son to one of those yu-gi-oh card trading places so he could play his game with others but as I was watching them play and trade cards or made me think well if one of the other kids was infected with hiv or anything and there trading cards with my son then could they spread the hiv by giving my son a card of theirs or by high fiving them?

HIV is spread through the following ways:
1. Unprotected vaginal/anal sex with an HIV+ person
2. Sharing IV needles with an HIV+ person
3. From HIV+ mother to unborn child
As long as your son was not engaged in unprotected sex or sharing needles with the other people at the card swap he was not at risk.
