Is it possible I have hiv?

I don’t have any symptoms, but for some reason I have very high anxiety that I have hiv. I haven’t had sexual contact before, and I’ve never even thought about doing drugs involving needles.

Then it is IMPOSSIBLE that you have HIV.

If you never have unprotected vaginal or anal sex with a person whose status you don't know, and you have never shared intravenous drug needles, you do NOT have HIV.  If you don't ever do either of those, you will never have to worry about HIV.

If you are suffering from an irrational fear of HIV, then it is a good idea to seek therapy.  Therapy can help you overcome those fears.

This might be a stupid question, but intravenous means inside the veins, correct? Not saying I have done anything needle related, I’m afraid to even get flu shots, but what if the needle doesn’t even go to the vein, for example a tattoo?
IV process needs a hollow needle so it can inject. Tattoo is not hollow. You need to accept you have no risk and move on or see a therapist to help you do that because fixating on HIV is a poor excuse for a hobby.
