Is it true

That in order to get the disease that you have to have a considerable amount of the virus to become infected?  I see it referred to as such on here.  How does it work

it also depends on the person's viral load that they have at the time, if they are on meds and their viral load is undetechable, it is harder to pass the virus on, if someone is newly infected and has a high viral load they are very contagious.
