ANXIETY ! ! !
kindly move on...you do not have a hiv concern
Do I really need to be tested?? Is the doctor recommending this because he thinks I need it? Or it's because of my anxiety?
Your anxiety isn't letting you comprehend what people are telling you. There are NO circumstances in which what you describe is a risk for HIV.
Do what Dr. HHH told you to do- take an HIV test in a few weeks- and in the meantime try to get off of the subject of HIV. Take a break from the forums until you have tested.
I know, but I was wondering...
Under what condition would kissing and her sucking my scrotum been a risk to me if she HIV positive?
HIV cannot be contracted from saliva. You could bathe and drink from a tub full of an HIV infected person's saliva and you would not be at risk for HIV.
You been posting in the HIV forums since October 2009 and safe sex has been explained to you multiple times now. HIV transmission requires vaginal or anal penetrative sex. Nothing else is a significant route of transmission.
Just a few more concerns.
Assuming she wasn't being sarcastic and was really HIV POSITIVE...
1) What worries me about her kissing me and licking/sucking my scrotum...is that I hear saliva contains HIV. But I also read kissing is not a route of transmission - I guess my question is...Under what condition would kissing and her sucking my scrotum been a risk?
2) She also performed PROTECTED ORAL SEX on me. When she placed the condom on my penis...she pulled the top... What are the odds she ripped the condom accidentally...without me noticing it? Like could it be tear when she pulled the top portion?
no risk...positive or not
hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal/anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child
