HIV TEST

Hi in february 1998 I was treated for hyperthyroid with radiactive iodine and since then i been on medication for underactive thyroid I tested for HIV  in februaruy 2009 13-14 weeks after exposure and it came back negative could my HIV test results have been compromised or effected by my thyroid radioacitve treatment im I definetly negative ?

No it doesn't make a difference. Your treatment would not have an effect on your HIV test.

Hi again sorry i was tearted for hyperthyroid last year in february  2008 not in 1998 does this make a difference ?
