Ok thank you for letting me know. I appreciate it.
This a prevention forum not a counseling forum. You never had an exposure.
I didn't mean to see t as best answer. I'm sorry I have seen several and tried medicine it does not work. Sorry to upset you but the reality is some people have phobias and it's hard to get over.
Then why am I so scared and dwelling over it? I'm sorry but I'm so stressed out over this. I understand I have a phobia but I know u say fact is you never had an exposure but my question is if that did happen is that a risk. I know u say no but can u please tell me if testing negative in 30 days would be accurate result? Can u tell me why it is said not to share razors to prevent transmission? Do people get hiv and just think it was from sex or needles when in fact it could have been from something like I wrote?
Your phobias are facts. The fact is you never had an exposure.
You meant could gave used my tooth brush too and that would NOT BE A RISK right? How come sharing razors is considered a negligible risk or why does it say on some hiv sites do not share razors? I always get tested once a year because I'm afraid of situations like this. Because this just happened and my appointment for yearly is about 30 days away I feel as if when I test the result which I assume is still negative will not be accurate because of my fear of this situation I described. Would it be safe to assume that my test at 30 days after this if it's negative will remain negative because the negative is accurate?
Not a risk, he could have used your toothbrush too and it would be a risk.
HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child
