PLEASE HELP!

Okay I'm very worried about the way I've been feeling lately & I was hoping you all could help me out. At the beginning of this month I had sex with a friend and a few days later I noticed that my vagina was very itchy. I was worried that it may have been an STD but I got some medicine for a yeast infection, & my symptoms began to go away. This made me very relieved but lately I've gotten worried again. Two nights in a row I was very hot in the middle if the night. I was not exactly sweating but I was uncomfortable, & I read that night sweats were a symptom of HIV. Also, I have notice soreness in my neck a few times which I know can also be a symptom. Also I noticed a single spot in the inside od my cheek. It is not a bump, but a spot. I looked up kaposi's sarcoma and it is usually on the soft pallet of the mouth and on the gums, not on the inner cheek but I'm still worried! Also, I do bite the insides of my cheeks so I was thinking that it may be from that. Anyways, the more I read it seems like the more symptoms I have but I know that I may just be worrying myself. I told my friend about my worries but he assured me that he has been tested and knows that he doesn't have anything. Also he says that he uses condoms with his partners but I'm not sure if I can completely believe that. I plan on getting tested but I'm just soooo worried. Any comments would be helpful! One more thing...ever since I read that tingly feet can be a symptom, my feet keep tingling! Also my lymph nodes under my jaw on the left side have been sore for the last day but I think that may be because I was feeling around for them yesterday??? I am a nervous wreck. PLEASE help.

Okay thank you so much. I have one more question.. Is it true that fever is always a part of ARS? I haven't had one. I really do think that anxiety is causing a lot of the other things though.

first things first...STOP searching for "symptoms" on the internet.  as you have noticed...anxiety can cause very real physical symptoms...so all you are doing is adding fuel to the fire.

most ppl dont have hiv...so it's "unlikely" that you have contracted it.  WITH THAT BEING SAID...there are no guarantees.  a test at 6-8 weeks post your last exposure will give you a very good indication of your status and at that point...it probably wont change.  follow up at 3 months for that conclusive result.

UNTIL you are in a monogamous relationship where both of you have tested...ALWAYS use condoms for penetrative vaginal / anal intercourse.   sex lasts a few minutes...HIV LASTS A LIFETIME.
