" We get many questions about kissing and oral exposure and whether or not the presence of a cold sore, bites to the lip, gum disease or other wounds in or around the mouth changes the answer to the question. The answer is no. The data which define the absence of any risk of getting HIV through kissing, deep or otherwise has be generated through studies of thousand and thousands of persons, some of whom had cold cores, cuts, etc. There is no risk. a person who has canker sore kissed a person of hiv positive with also have a canker sore... they both have canker sore and 1 is positive. is it right that the negative person can acquire the virus because of portal of entry?
hello, you mentioned that kissing is not a risk of hiv transmission. seanjiang's post stated that even you have these kinds of sores in the mouth or wound still you cannot acquire hiv. i am just confused because i know that if there is an open wound or let say a portal of entry a person can acquire the virus. it is somehow contradicting to the statement above, can you please enlighten me about my confusion? thank you..
Your wasting your time testing because you never had a risk of hiv transmission from deep kissing.Your safe.Let it go.
Teak, So much appreciate your answer!
Reviewing the question about kissing in forum, no one think the infection is possible and my anxiety become low.
But I decide to do a test afther 4 weeks, i really am worried from time to time and my life is going to be terrible. Only the test result can help me end up this heart knot. 3 monthes is supported by my country offical, 6 weeks is supported by most of docter, 4 weeks is supported by some of docter if using the fourth-generation reagent.
is it dependable for the 4 weeks?
