Loss of appetite..?

I am a female who recently experimented with another woman who I had just met. I performed oral sex on her, and I am not sure if she is positive or not, but I have completely lost my appetite for the last two weeks. Otherwise, I am feeling absolutely fine. I am wondering if my loss of appetite could be a symptom of HIV? Or just paranoia because I had a parent succumb to the disease?

It's ok,your appetite will return once this stressful period subsides & it will because there was absolutely no HIV risk to you.

Gotcha. Thanks so much for the comfort man. I feel so much better. Now I am more concerned about why I have completely lost my appetite. I have a history of depression, but I have NEVER completely lost my appetite while being depressed. I guess I will have to make a trip to my doctor tomorrow. Thanks again.

Wikipedia--saliva contains a dozen different proteins & enzymes that inhibits HIV transmission. You can go to the CDC website & read it there aswell. One other point is that obviously saliva is not infectious either.

Really? I didn't know that saliva inhibits HIV transmission. Could you cite some sources for me? I am really worried over here! Thank you so much for answering though. It kind of put my mind at ease.

You never had a risk because saliva inhibits HIV transmission & there has never been a case of HIV being transmitted from 1 woman to another sexually speaking.
