Mr Ali,
Thanks for your kind words. Teak has rightly said, ELISA Antibody test is not meaningful if done before 8-10 weeks (12 /13 weeks considered to be conclusively) and therefore 4 weeks is too early.
Do not focus and think about symptoms, as they do not mean much. Typical ARS appear between 3-5 weeks of exposure and comprise of a bunch of symptoms, with fever (101-104 F) and non itching body rashes are the essential contents of the package.
Joint pain alone can not be considered as ARS, so please do not think too much about this.
Rest assured that if your condom remained intact (which did, I am sure), you are safe, HIV can not pass through latex or polyurethane. But also keep in mind, they do fail and once they do, it is as bad as not having them at all. Choice is yours,,, decide to opt for "protected penetration" or other no risk behaviors of mutual pleasure.
I wish and pray for your good health. Play safe and stay healthy,,, Abstinence and Loyalty is better than condoms and CDC also preaches in their ABC of safe sex.
Good Luck,,,, Ali
There is a prime example as to why you shouldn't be on this forum giving out any advise siteheld.
I really learned something from your explanation Diver58. Being a woman I have always had fears of a man putting holes (with a pin) in a condom to sabotage the situation.
In my culture fertility is highly honored. Because I was raised in the States I don't think you have to have child with someone for it to be a valid relationship. When i started dating one guy (from my culture of course) was upset when I would not get pregnant by him and he said that he had put holes in the condoms. Needless to say that I couldn't sleep for the whole month.
Would i be right by saying:
He couldn't have put pin size holes in the condom because condoms only break apart or rip?
Won't tell you anything. 4 weeks is to early to take a test.
Taking a test at 4 weeks won't you anything about the the situation you described above.
Thanks for your reassuring words, may God bless you......i wish things go smoth as am preparing to take an early test after 4 weeks in the coming days.
Am experiencing small joint pains when i seat but when active it goes away and am just thinking milions of stuffs in my head......never experienced any fever.....whats is your judgement on this?
Thanks again
Mr Ali
Though condoms provide almost 100% protection against HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases, the problem is, once they fail (mostly due to improper handling), it is as bad as not having em at all, leaving you right in the middle of "hot waters". Failed condom is quickly noticed and for that, you don't have to smell inside her,,, a failed condom usually tears apart, exposing crown of your member. There is nothing like a pin hole or crack, when it comes to condom quality.
Looking at your situation, it appears that your latex was intact and if so, you are safe this time. Personal protection is good but at least I would never go into a building (if I suspect fire inside) to play a game of bridge inside, wearing a fire suit. Choice of going for "full bore" even protected penetration, does carry a minimal risk, because prime route of HIV transmission is linked with penetration, vaginal or anal. Remember, nothing is perfect in this world.
If your condom did not fail, you don't need any kind of testing, otherwise you need to wait until 12/13 weeks to get a final and conclusive result. Good Luck
Thats why it is haram. Repent, test, never repeat :)
No doctors here.
If the condom was on you (covering at least the head of your penis) then you were safe. I assume that you withdrew and the condom was still on your penis? If so you were safe.
