Thank you for responding! I am going to get my 6 week test done next week. Wish me luck! my last partner (my now boyfriend tested and hes nagative) I just hope he tested within the 3 month conclusive time span and the other guy I had sex with he wore a condom and insisted it did not break. I hope and pray I am alright!
most likely you have LYme, not hiv. I had Lyme and my symptoms are feel somewhat like yours, stiff neck is a most common symptom i have with Lyme disease.

I read a few times on the internet that HIV can interfere with the tests of Lyme Disease and therefore create false positives...is this true? does anyone know?
I saw online that this can happen....is this true? omg im flipping out.
I was just wondering if HIV could be the cause of that test testing positive instead of Lyme disease, could it infact be HIV instead? cause I did not get tested for HIV with that test just yet.... since I have had symptoms of HIV and have had unprotected sex a few times... is this possible or nothing would mess the test for Lyme disease up? considering they are the same tests used for HIV?

I went back to the doctor she showed me the ELISHA test and western blot that were both positive for Lyme Disease. If I did end up having HIV could this prove a false postive for Lyme disease at all? please help me im sooo scared.
