I posted a question earlier about catching HIV from a cut when exposed to potential blood on a door handle. A year after I developed nasty allergy like symptoms and post nasal drip (no worries there - pollen was off the roof this spring). I also developed a mild sore throat that lasted 2 weeks followed by 2 lymph node enlargement in the back of my neck and one right under my jaw. The ones in the back of my neck were mildly itchy and had redness over it. One appeared 2 weeks after the sore throat ended and the skin was kind of hard but it went down after a week or so, 3 weeks later, same thing happened with a lymph node in the other side of my neck (still the back). They both went down in a week but I can still feel them - they're kind of rubbery very movable (i can literally move them around with 2 fingers), no itchyness, you can only see it if I extend my neck to the side. No enlargement in axillary or groin
Are my lymph nodes of any concern (they swelled 2 weeks after my sore throat then another 3 weeks after the previous one)? I keep on touching and poking them - can this cause them to stay in the "shotty" state?
Also what is concerning about lymph nodes in a HIV infected individual?
